Our Ayurvedic system of medicine is purely based on the traditional qualities of medicinal plants and other ingredients. The qualities of Ayurvedic preparations will be lost if Genetically Modified ingredients alone are available. So GM plants will destroy our total health and wealth, not only for us for our future generations also.

പക്ഷേ, എല്ലാം രാഷ്‌ട്രീയമായി മാത്രം നോക്കിക്കാണുന്ന ഇന്ത്യയില്‍ ബി ടി വഴുതനങ്ങയെ പിന്തുണയ്‌ക്കാനും ആളുണ്ട്‌. സ്വന്തം പോക്കറ്റിലേക്ക്‌ എന്തുവരുമെന്നു മാത്രം നോക്കി ഒരു ജനതയെ മുഴുവന്‍ അത്യാഹിതത്തിലേക്ക്‌ തള്ളിവിടാന്‍ മടികാണിക്കാത്ത ഇക്കൂട്ടര്‍ക്ക്‌ സ്‌തുതി പാടാനും ഇവിടെ ആളുണ്ട്‌. ഇല്ലെങ്കില്‍ ആന്ദ്രയിലെ പരുത്തികര്‍ഷകരുടെ അനുഭവം ഇവരൊന്നും മറവിയുടെ ഇരുട്ടറയിലേക്ക്‌ തള്ളുകയില്ലായിരുന്നു.
ഇത്തരം ഉട്ടോപ്യന്‍ ആശയങ്ങളെ എതിര്‍ക്കുന്നവനെ മണ്ടനും വിഡ്‌ഢിയുമായി ചിത്രീകരിക്കുന്ന ഈ സമയത്തും ബി ടി വഴുതനങ്ങയ്‌ക്കെതിരെ പ്രതികരിക്കാന്‍ തയ്യാറായതില്‍ ഫാര്‍മറെ അഭിനന്ദിക്കുന്നു.
